Job Description:
Work/responsibilities regularly span multiple job families within this job group. Provides strategic advice, support, and services to internal business partners and external audiences and providers. Develops appropriate and effective policies, procedures and controls pertaining to: financial management, accounting processes and procedures (GAAP), cash management, financial and strategic planning, tax compliance and corporate reporting functions. Manages and coordinates external financial reporting and investor relations. Includes Controllers with responsibility for both finance and accounting. Roles with treasury or investor relations responsibility should be assigned to this job family. This job family is intended to accommodate 1) jobs whose accountabilities span two or more job families within the job group; 2) jobs that are not covered by a defined job family within the job group; 3) managerial roles spanning more than one family that are not broad enough in scope and impact to be assigned to the Business Unit/General Management job family within the Management job group.

Job Requirements:
o Perform various activities within the Record-to-Report processes in line with US GAAP, corporate
policies and in respect to local statutory requirements of the European countries assigned.
o Ensure accurate and timely month-end reporting and ensure all corporate deadlines are met.
o Understand the balance sheet & income statement impacts of every transaction to challenge or
propose accounting adjustment entries, when relevant.
o Coordinate all necessary supporting documentation for monthly accruals and prepayments.
o Coordinate the preparation of Balance Sheet and coordinate the monthly review and analyses.
o Ensure the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations are performed timely.
o Ensure performance of internal controls, including SOX compliance.
o Ensure all internal policies and procedures are consistently followed.
o Review timely tax declarations and local tax filing requirements (VAT, Corporate Tax, etc.) in with local
deadlines.
o Prepare statutory accounts and tax returns as well as any other local government requirements.
o Support audits (internal & external) including coordination of client deliverables.
o Key user for specific finance systems including maintenance of respective approval matrix, training
and support of department users and documentation.
o Ensure accounting documentation (Guidelines, Manuals) are complete and up-to-date.
o Motivate, mentor, develop, and manage GL accounting team members.
o Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the GL Accounting Team.
