The Role

Overview

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition, development and management of Banking and Financial Services accounts. The responsibilities of this role include account planning and management, opportunity management, pipeline development and forecasting in Salesforce CRM, and supporting the sales individual/pod team structure in a hybrid-work model to achieve or exceed targets on a consistent basis.

The Escode Division

Key Accountabilities

  • Client Relationship Management – build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients. Act as the main point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and trust.
  • Strategic Planning – develop account strategies to achieve client objectives and align them with the Escode company goals. Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
  • Revenue Growth – drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets for assigned accounts. Develop proposals and negotiate contracts to secure renewals and new business
  • Leadership and Coordination – collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development, support) to deliver exceptional results for clients. Lead accounts, providing clear direction and support.
  • Problem Resolution – address and resolve client concerns and escalations promptly and effectively. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks impacting client success.
  • Performance Reporting – track, analyze, and report on key account performance metrics. Provide clients with regular updates and insights on project status and outcomes.
  • Market & Industry Insight – stay informed about industry trends and competitors to provide clients with informed recommendations. Use insights to guide clients’ strategies and adapt company offerings as needed.
  • Budget and Resource Management – oversee budgets related to client accounts to ensure profitability and resource efficiency. Balance client needs with the company’s financial and operational constraints.
  • Proposal Development - Create and present compelling proposals tailored to client needs and business objectives. Ensure proposals address client challenges and highlight the value of company offerings.
  • Contract and Compliance Management – ensure all client engagements adhere to contractual agreements, timelines, and regulatory standards. Monitor compliance with SLA’s and adjust plans as needed.

Skills

We require an individual with proven experience in:

  • Excellent communicator at all levels – written and verbal and able to effectively create and structure communications with a view to generate opportunities and build relationships
  • String Business Acumen – Ability to secure understanding of a client’s business strategy and articulating value propositions aligned to their organization
  • Expert in sales forecasting and account planning
  • Enthusiastic self-motivator
  • Effective team player
  • Working experience with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office, Collaboration Tools, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo
  • Experience in a recognized sales training/methodology discipline for account planning and sales cycle management (i.e. MEDDPICC)
  • Ability to work towards various key performance indicators that support the go-to-market strategy.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid-work environment between office and remote (home)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the technology, software, and cloud industry; and key finance vertical is a plus.
