Main Purpose

This role sells staffing services by establishing contacts, effective marketing, and developing relationships with prospects, and researches and analyzes sales options and recommends solutions. This position will target clients that use multiple staffing vendors and have enough target spend to justify the sales effort and activity, and increase market share by closing business with new buyers, as well as maintaining and growing profitable business with current client partners already sold.

  • Develop new business with prospective and current clients through telephone and direct sales to increase gross margin profitably while adhering to all minimum KPIs for Financial and Activity metrics.
  • Conducts market analysis and develops and implements market strategy agreed upon with manager. Keeps abreast of new businesses within the territory or line of business and makes timely initial contact, including following up on business leads from sources within the company.
  • Conducts extensive research on target accounts by using the Internet or other sources of information to gain an in-depth knowledge of their business.
  • Understand business objectives and work environment of client.
  • Obtains and maintains complete and accurate information on prospective clients and existing clients.
  • Meets with clients to assess their needs and develop proposal to provide solutions to their staffing challenges.
  • Develops pricing models to ensure profitable growth of business unit. 
  • Completes and manages entire proposal responses and Requests for Proposals. Delivers sales presentations to key prospects and clients, and through face-to-face contact, shares information on Professional and Technical services and develops solutions to meet client needs.  Will use cost-benefit analysis to support value proposition.
  • Negotiates and closes deals.
  • Obtains client service agreements.
  • Develops short-term and long-term sales plans in alignment with company objectives to successfully manage changes in the market. Monitors and evaluates sales activities based on goals and targets. Forecasts sales activity accurately and achieve weekly and monthly sales goals by developing and maintaining a schedule of calls and utilizing prescribed sales tools.
  • Maintains relationships/communication with current and potential client base to ensure expectations are being met or to identify additional business opportunities. Regularly visits or maintains connections through phone or internet with existing clients to maintain and build strategic relationships by providing support, information, and guidance; recommend new opportunities; recommend profit and service improvements.
  • Ensures safety of talent at client sites and verify that they are performing tasks within the appropriate job description.
  • Develops repeat and referral business through excellent service and follow-up activities.
  • Builds and maintains partnerships with recruiters, providing them with relevant information and guidance to ensure competitive candidates are submitted for open requisitions.
  • Identifies service improvements or new services by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Assists in developing marketing strategies to increase market share.
  • Participates in civic and professional organizations for the purpose of developing sales leads and additional business.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Attends and completes all assigned internal training and participates in continuing education where appropriate.
  • Provides general direction, mentoring, and guidance to new sales staff and new recruiters as necessary.
  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Documents activity including completing all sales reports as required (i.e. Weekly Sales Plan and Summary and Target Account List) and return to the office daily to document all relevant Sales activity and data into CRM and front office systems, write correspondence and meet with sales staff regarding client needs. 
  • Special projects as assigned by Manager.
Requirements
  • At least 3 to 5+ years of Sales experience in a service industry with a proven track record of success.
  • Clean driving record.
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or institution or an acceptable established record of success in Sales career. 
  • Willingness to travel when necessary to attend sales meetings and training classes.
  • Prior Technical or Professional Staffing industry experience.
  • Assertive and persistent sales orientation.  
  • Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Optimistic and goal and results-oriented.
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline and deliver high-quality services with a great sense of urgency.
  • Excellent negotiation skills 
  • Adaptable in changing situations.
  • Ability to easily build coalitions, earn the trust of others, and encourage teamwork. 
  • Excellent planning and presentation skills.
  • KPI and Metric driven with the ability to manage others to these KPIs
  • Extensive Network with the ability to build a book of business and develop business utilizing contacts
  • Ability to develop key internal relationships to help drive business and provide solutions to client business needs
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate and communicate effectively with relevant internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • High level of analytical and critical thinking skills with a strong drive to investigate, analyze, and resolve simple and complex problems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities and meet conflicting deadlines with minimal direct supervision
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace software suite
  • Highly proficient with utilizing several tools to enable real-time collaboration with a globally distributed workforce, such as Miro, Monday, Salesforce, Google Meet, Zoom, Slack, etc
