YOUR ROLE:

Senior Account Executive for the General Motors CRM business supports General Motors’ overall mission to modernize their data and marketing technology infrastructure and enable best-in-class marketing strategies to reach target audiences with precision, and effectively track, report and optimize each step of the customer journey. The expectation is that the Senior Account Executive is a master of coordination, demonstrating high potential in core Business Leadership skills, including problem solving, connecting teams and storytelling to the client.  You will understand the agency's portfolio of offerings and how to apply them to solve client business problems. You are an Agency driver that works to keep the agency operations moving along.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively acts as a key collaborator with internal groups (within Agency and across Agency partners) to deliver client asks on time.
  • Serve as the main client point of contact on assigned projects, including emails, phone calls and in-person meetings.
  • Responsible for weekly/monthly project status reports, delivery of timely conference reports.
  • Builds long term relationships with the clients and other Agency partners, representing client interests to the team.
  • Can partner with, organize, and navigate assignments effectively.
  • Initiates, presents, and drives to completion value-added projects (participation in project is dependent on the level of complexity).
  • Participates in /has exposure to development of client marketing strategy.
  • Knows when to escalate, or deescalate, potential problems.
  • Issues change orders, with oversight, communicating and understanding the implications of business strategy on project decisions.
  • Sets up meetings and provides accurate agendas and precise and actionable meeting notes.
  • Collaborates with the team at appropriate times to ensure consensus around scoping, project approach, etc.
  • Documented, rigorous scope tracking, and scope creep identification.
  • Effectively and proactively communicates to client issues that can result in a scope change.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Established track record of successfully coordinating client initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4-7 years industry experience with digital or CRM Background.
  • Proven ability to express self clearly and organize ideas well.
  • Agency experience is a must.
  • Has experience in developing and/or collaborating with internal teams on client-facing decks and is comfortable with presenting. Some experience in deck storytelling (guiding the deck flow and/or presenting) is a plus.
  • Team player with great time management skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience supporting integrated marking campaigns (including advertising, email marketing, CRM, digital, social media, SEO/SEM, direct marketing and SMS marketing.)
  • Capable of presenting ideas/new opinions with confidence, and connecting dots between multiple functions
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively, and holistically about client opportunities.
  • Has a passion for doing great work.
  • In depth knowledge of digital marketing tools and technology.

This range is specific to Detroit and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
