Job Description Summary
Responsible for leading the growth and sales activities of the Dealer segment for PTL. Establishing the directing and overseeing all sales activities of the Company including customer acquisition and retention, quarterly sales plan, developing and utilizing sales tools, and mentoring the sales team.Essential Responsibilities:
Lead and execute the national segment sales strategy and business plan
Initiate and grow new customer relationships for PTL
Establish the segment prospects and deployment plan for customer acquisition and retention
Partner with other regional and segment sales leaders and sales associates to deliver volume and gross margin targets
Grow segment in conjunction with PTL’s overall commercial growth strategy
Represent PTL as a subject matter expert for the segment
Partner with Marketing to develop branding, advertising and marketing materials to grow segment
Oversee discipline in PTL sales process at segment level i.e. 100% Account Retention, Account Plans, and Pipeline Management
Develop customer segmentation and pricing strategy for segment, as needed
Conduct quarterly account/territory reviews; review progress against account objectives and account plans; identify risks
Focus on prospects where PTL’s distribution network can differentiate it from its competition and deliver value and profitable growth
Other Functions:
Special projects as requested
Perform other duties as assigned
