Security Solutions Experience Associate - SE Labs

As a Security Solutions Experience Associate at Rapid7, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the SE lab environments and ensuring a stable demoing experience for our Security Solutions Engineers on a daily basis. You'll partner with the Security Solutions Experience Specialist, Sales Engineers, and other teams across the organization to support the lab infrastructure, build staging environments to test new functionality, and work on and assist special projects to optimize the end-user experience. You'll champion the users of the environment, supporting the different Rapid7 technologies to help your teams secure the best possible outcomes.
In this role, you will:

• Primary focus is the support of the SE (Sales Engineering) organization.
• Responsibilities include supporting activities outside pre/post sales such as ensuring environments are staged for security conferences
• Standing up hosted environments for pre-sales prospect technical evaluation
• Ensure that the production demo environment is in optimal working condition at all times.
• Provide technical support in infrastructure level issues, such as outages, partial outages and other impacting issues when applicable.
• User management and access of the SE lab and demo environments
• Maintaining and updating the SoR (System of record) that tracks work activities and engagements, i.e. JIRA and SalesForce.
• Work with and collaborate with cross functional teams as it pertains to the role.
• InfoSec, Platform/Engineering teams, Product, Partner labs, other
• Build out virtualized environments as needed (cloud hosted on on-premise)
• Provide guidance and assistance to SE partners specific to the products in building and supporting product specific use-cases and tooling to optimize the experience.

The skills you'll bring include (combined 2-3 years of experience in these areas):

• Familiarity or experience developing, building and maintaining virtual or cloud environments.
• Familiarity or experience working with Cloud Hosted environments such as AWS, Azure and GCP or others.
• Basic familiarity with scripting in Python, Bash, or Powershell (or other languages)
• Basic familiarity working with Terraform and CloudFormation or similar
• Foundational knowledge of various OS's (LINUX/UNIX/WIN)
• Familiarity or experience working with virtualized environments and systems (VMWare)
• Following certifications a plus:
• AWS, Azure, GCP, or other Networking Foundational Certifications
