JOB DUTIES: BUILD AND RUN NEW MONITORING/ANALYTICS SYSTEMS. WATCH OVER CORPORATE ENVIRONMENT AND ATLASSIAN CLOUD SERVICES, HUNTING FOR SIGNS OF COMPROMISE AND IMPLEMENTING HIGH-FIDELITY ALERTS. BUILD A NEW SYSTEM, DEVELOPING AUTOMATION, AND CRUSHING SECURITY PROBLEMS. RESPOND TO INCIDENTS, WRITING CODE IN PYTHON. HACKING DATA IN SPLUNK, BUILDING SECURITY INTELLIGENCE TOOLS AND PLATFORMS. RESEARCH ATTACKER TOOLS AND TACTICS. RESPOND PROMPTLY TO CYBERSECURITY INCIDENTS, ACTIVELY CONTRIBUTING TO INCIDENT INVESTIGATIONS, AND COLLABORATING WITH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS TO MITIGATE POTENTIAL THREATS. DESIGN AND BUILD SOPHISTICATED SECURITY INTELLIGENCE TOOLS AND PLATFORMS TO BOLSTER THREAT DETECTION CAPABILITIES. CONDUCT IN-DEPTH RESEARCH ON ATTACKER TOOLS AND TACTICS TO PROVIDE VALUABLE INSIGHTS TO ENHANCE OVERALL SECURITY MEASURES. DOCUMENT INCIDENT RESPONSE ACTIVITIES AND CONTRIBUTING TO CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT INITIATIVES TO STAY AHEAD OF EVOLVING CYBERSECURITY CHALLENGES. SAFEGUARD DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE BY RESPONDING TO MAJOR INCIDENTS. ENSURE CONFIDENTIALITY, INTEGRITY, AND AVAILABILITY OF SENSITIVE INFORMATION, WITH A SPECIFIC FOCUS ON KEY TOOLS-JIRA, CONFLUENCE, AND BITBUCKET. ADDRESS MAJOR INCIDENTS BY CONDUCTING INCIDENT DETECTION, ANALYSIS, AND RESOLUTION, ACTIVELY CONTRIBUTING TO THE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT OF SECURITY POSTURE. CONFIGURE AND MONITOR SECURITY CONTROLS FOR JIRA, CONFLUENCE, AND BITBUCKET, ENSURING THEIR ALIGNMENT WITH INDUSTRY BEST PRACTICES AND REGULATORY COMPLIANCE STANDARDS. ENGAGE WITH THE UNIQUE SECURITY CHALLENGES POSED BY THESE TOOLS, AND BRING A NUANCED UNDERSTANDING OF CYBER THREATS RELEVANT TO OUR ENVIRONMENT. STAY ABREAST OF THE LATEST CYBERSECURITY TRENDS AND EVOLVING OUR DEFENSE STRATEGIES TO EFFECTIVELY SAFEGUARD COMPANY'S DIGITAL ASSETS. SPECIALIZE IN THE SECURITY OF JIRA, CONFLUENCE, AND BITBUCKET AND RESPOND ADEPTLY TO MAJOR INCIDENTS. UPHOLD THE INTEGRITY OF DIGITAL ECOSYSTEM, REINFORCING ATLASSIAN'S COMMITMENT TO PROVIDING SECURE AND RELIABLE COLLABORATION TOOLS FOR OUR USERS. INCIDENT DETECTION AND THREAT HUNTING. MONITOR AND ANALYZE SECURITY SYSTEMS AND TOOLS FOR SIGNS OF COMPROMISE. PROACTIVELY HUNT FOR UNDETECTED THREATS WITHIN THE NETWORK AND ENDPOINTS. UTILIZE THREAT INTELLIGENCE TO INFORM HUNTING STRATEGIES AND IDENTIFY POTENTIAL ATTACK VECTORS. ANALYZE SECURITY ALERTS, NETWORK TRAFFIC, AND LOGS TO UNDERSTAND AND RESPOND TO INCIDENTS. COORDINATE INCIDENT RESPONSE EFFORTS TO CONTAIN, ERADICATE, AND RECOVER FROM SECURITY BREACHES. DEVELOP AND REFINE INCIDENT RESPONSE PROCEDURES AND PROTOCOLS. DOCUMENT ALL PHASES OF INCIDENT MANAGEMENT AND THREAT HUNTING ACTIVITIES. CREATE COMPREHENSIVE INCIDENT AND THREAT HUNTING REPORTS FOR STAKEHOLDERS. CONDUCT POST-INCIDENT REVIEWS AND COMMUNICATE LESSONS LEARNED AND IMPROVEMENT STRATEGIES. GATHER AND ANALYZE THREAT INTELLIGENCE TO ENHANCE DETECTION AND RESPONSE CAPABILITIES. RECOMMEND IMPROVEMENTS TO SECURITY CONTROLS BASED ON INCIDENT ANALYSIS AND THREAT HUNTING FINDINGS. COLLABORATE WITH IT AND OTHER DEPARTMENTS TO STRENGTHEN OVERALL SECURITY POSTURE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, INFORMATION SECURITY, OR A RELATED FIELD.*
*EMPLOYER WILL ACCEPT 4- OR 3- YEAR BACHELOR'S DEGREE.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 YEARS RELEVANT EXPERIENCE WORKING IN SECURITY USING AT LEAST ONE SCRIPTING LANGUAGE (I.E. PYTHON, PEARL, RUBY, BASH), WRITING CODE TO COMPLETE SECURITY TASKS.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: MUST PASS TECHNICAL INTERVIEW.
OFFERED WAGE: $128,300 - $172,500 PER YEAR
