The Operations (Cost) Controlling team provides value add by:
Implementing and/or maintaining cost controlling related policies and guidelines for VISHAY or the assigned entities.
Ensuring or preparing for cost planning, budgeting, forecasting and actual-versus-plan reports.
Gathering, compiling and reviewing cost information to identify inaccuracies.
Analyzing and evaluating cost structures, and monitors organization's spendings.
Executing profitability calculations for investments, and deriving recommendation for accountable management
Acting as advisor in all cost control matters.
Lead the company's budgeting process, monthly variances reporting and explanation.
Lead the quarterly inventory provision for obsolescence calculation and reviews.
A job at this level:
Executes non-routine and case-specific analytics to support stakeholder (inside and outside own team).
Provides qualified support, i.e., introducing guidelines and services, ensuring documentation, or serves as escalation instance for an administrative team of Coordinators.
Acts as 2nd level support for requests, for customers and other stakeholder involved, and takes further investigations to clarify issues.
May support professionals in design and implementation of functional guidelines to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Plans team related work and service, in support of the responsible team leader or manager.
Performs independent judgement on subjects of relevance for the process assigned.
