Job Summary:
NavAide is actively seeking dedicated professionals to support the Navy's strategic initiatives, including enhancing the FM workforce, standardizing business processes, and leveraging data analytics. This role is integral to the Navy ERP data migration initiative and involves close collaboration with FM&C and Government clients. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with FM&C and Government clients to understand data migration needs and align them with strategic objectives.
- Lead the creation and deployment of Program Management Plans, covering organizational structure, transition plans, risk management, and performance metrics.
- Conduct data health assessments and manage data migration processes, including data mapping, post-migration data validation, and business transition.
- Oversee financial reconciliation, DDRS reporting, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop and execute organizational change management strategies, including change readiness assessments.
- Design and deliver training strategies, manage user training, and ensure a smooth data migration process.
- Lead subordinate teams, ensuring adherence to financial standards and guidance.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews, ensuring program performance aligns with contractual commitments.
- Perform on-site quality checks and lead teams through complex tasks.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of working papers, findings, and reports.
- Engage proactively with FM&C and Government clients, predominantly at the Division Head level and above.
- Drive IT development phases, including SDLC activities such as technical documentation, requirements definition, solution ideation, testing, and change or deployment oversight.
- Design and manage databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficiency.
- Lead data analytics initiatives, create data visualizations, detailed reports, and data cleansing scripts and processes.
- Apply advanced technical data analytics to provide insights and support decision-making.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Expertise in IT development, database management, and data analytics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Alignment with NavAide's ethos and guiding principles.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Understanding of Navy ERP migration or large-scale data migration projects.
- Minimum of nine years of progressive experience, including six years in change management projects.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and natural leadership abilities.
- Commitment to precision and delivering superior outcomes.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Information Systems.
- 6-15+ years of work experience, preferably with State or Federal Government agencies or sizable corporations.
- Certifications or exposure to Department of Navy Financial Management & Systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
Security Clearance:Candidates must possess, or be eligible to receive, a US DoD Secret-level Security Clearance.
Travel:Occasional travel (approximately 25%) within the continental United States may be required.
