Position Title: SAP WM Functional Analyst
Location: McKinley West, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig
Work arrangements: Full-time office (but open for Hybrid as well, 3 days from office and 2 days from home)
Position Overview:
As a Senior SAP WM Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing SAP Warehouse Management (WM) solutions to ensure seamless warehouse and logistics execution. You will work closely with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement system enhancements. This role requires expertise in SAP WM configuration, cross-functional integration, and production support to drive efficiency in warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Requirements and Solution Design:
- Work with business users to gather and document system requirements.
- Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRD) in consultation with business users.
- Study the requirements and provide estimations using Capgemini and TE estimation processes.
- Work with development teams and MTC (testers) to implement and test new functionalities.
- Ensure SAP WM solutions align with business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- SAP WM Configuration and Optimization:
- Configure and maintain SAP WM and Logistics Execution (LE) functionalities to support warehouse processes.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP WM with MM, SD, PP, and IM modules.
- Set up storage locations, bin-to-bin transfer processes, movement types, and replenishment workflows.
- Configure warehouse movements, inventory tracking, and picking/packing processes.
- Manage master data configuration and cross-module integration.
- Implement batch management for BOM and optimize handling unit processes.
- Work with RF scanning technology, barcode systems, and label printing solutions.
- Testing and Deployment:
- Build test scripts and perform end-to-end testing.
- Work with quality assurance teams to validate SAP WM functionalities before deployment.
- Support the go-live process and ensure a smooth transition from project implementation to production support.
- Production Support and Issue Resolution:
- Provide ongoing SAP WM system support by troubleshooting and resolving functional issues.
- Manage IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including Incident Management, Service Requests, and Change Management.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices for SAP WM system maintenance.
- Understand and manage Incident, Service Request, Problem Management, and Change Management processes.
- Cross-Module and Third-Party Integration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP WM with Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Carrier Integration bolt-on products.
- Work with developers to implement RF scanning solutions, barcode systems, and warehouse label printing solutions.
- Ensure SAP WM aligns with broader enterprise resource planning (ERP) strategies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Training:
- Conduct training sessions for business users on SAP WM functionalities and best practices.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and end-users to ensure alignment of SAP solutions with business needs.
- Provide guidance and expertise in warehouse operations process improvements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP WM configuration and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics execution (LE).
- Experience integrating SAP WM with MM, SD, PP, and IM.
- Experience configuring SAP WM functionalities such as warehouse movements, inventory tracking, and picking/packing processes.
- Proficiency in working with RF scanning technology, barcode systems, and label printing solutions.
- Experience configuring new storage locations, movement types, and replenishment processes.
- Strong understanding of SAP (SD) Delivery and Shipment functionality.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and ITIL-based production support processes.
- Strong understanding of ITIL concepts for production support.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS).
- Experience with Bartender labeling software (Seagull Scientific) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Carrier Integration bolt-on products (such as ASSIST4 Carrier Integration) is highly desirable.
- Experience leading teams and mentoring junior team members.
