Position Title: SAP SD Functional Consultant
Location: McKinley West, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig
Work arrangements options:

  • Hybrid set up at Fort Bonifacio, Taguig office (3 days from office and 2 days from home)
  • Role also open for remote set up

Position Overview:
As a Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for configuring, optimizing, and supporting the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module within an S/4HANA environment. You will collaborate with business users, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver effective SAP SD solutions that streamline sales, order fulfillment, billing, and distribution processes. Your expertise in OTC (Order-to-Cash) business processes, pricing configurations, and cross-module integrations will be essential in driving efficiency and supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP SD Configuration and Implementation:
    • Configure and optimize SAP SD S/4HANA functionalities to support sales and distribution processes.
    • Manage key configurations including Sales Orders, Scheduling Agreements, Consignment Processes, and ATP (Available to Promise) functionality.
    • Implement and maintain configurations related to Order Fulfillment, Output Setup, and Pricing Determination.
    • Configure Billing, Account Determination, Partner Function Determination, and Output Determination.
    • Work on X-Company processes, Third-Party Sales, and Stock Transfer Order (STO-PO, STO-SA) processes.
    • Ensure seamless integration with FI, LE, PP, and MM-PUR modules.
    • Maintain master data configurations and cross-module integration knowledge.
  • Cross-Module Integration and Business Process Optimization:
    • Ensure seamless integration of SAP SD with other modules such as FI, LE, PP, and MM-PUR.
    • Configure and optimize account determination, partner functions, and pricing methods for business efficiency.
    • Provide expertise in the ATP process and intercompany sales.
  • Testing and Deployment:
    • Develop and execute test scripts to ensure accurate configuration and smooth business operations.
    • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support go-live activities.
    • Provide functional support for system rollouts and post-implementation enhancements.
  • Production Support and Issue Resolution:
    • Troubleshoot SAP SD-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
    • Manage IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including Incident Management, Change Requests, and Problem Management.
    • Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices for SAP SD system maintenance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Training:
    • Engage with business users to gather and document requirements for SAP SD enhancements.
    • Provide training and documentation for end-users on new system functionalities and best practices.
    • Act as a key consultant for SAP SD optimization initiatives.
    • Work in a challenging environment, coordinating with cross-functional teams and influencing key stakeholders.
    • Take initiative and assist team members whenever required.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP SD configuration and implementation.
  • Strong expertise in OTC (Order-to-Cash) business processes and SAP SD S/4HANA configurations.
  • Strong understanding of Sales Order, Scheduling Agreements, Consignment Processes, and ATP functionality.
  • Expertise in Sales & Distribution functions such as Order Fulfillment, Output Setup, and Pricing Determination.
  • Knowledge of Intercompany (X-Company) processes, Third-Party Sales, and STO-PO, STO-SA configurations.
  • Experience configuring Pricing, Account Determination, Partner Function Determination, and Output Determination.
  • Must be familiar with ITSM tools (preferably ServiceNow) and ITIL-based production support processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments efficiently.

Nice to Have:

  • SAP SD S/4HANA Certification with debugging skills.
  • Experience with PROS pricing methodology and APEX application.
  • Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS).
  • Knowledge of Bartender labeling software (Seagull Scientific).
  • Experience with Carrier Integration bolt-on products (such as ASSIST4 Carrier Integration).

Managed Service Process Experience:

  • Should be familiar with ITSM / Service Desk ticketing systems (preferably ServiceNow).
  • Should understand ITIL concepts for Production Support.
  • Should understand Incident Management, Service Request, Problem Management, and Change Management processes.
