RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and govern the design and implement work of SAP S/4HANA finance solutions aligned with Mexican localization requirements.
- Oversight of external delivery partners on Mexican financial configurations within SAP S/4HANA.
- Review and approve technical specifications, configurations, and code developed by external partners for adherence to Mexican regulations and best practices.
- Support gap analysis between standard SAP functionality and Mexican specific requirements, identifying areas for customization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, IT, and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Mexican financial regulations and SAP S/4HANA finance functionalities.
- Ensuring proper documentation of processes, configurations and building a knowledge base for future use.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as an SAP S/4HANA Finance Architect (or similar role) with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), and relevant sub-modules (e.g., Treasury Management, Project System).
- Expert understanding of Mexican accounting standards (e.g., NOMs, CFTA) and their implications for SAP configuration.
- Experience working with external delivery partners on SAP implementations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
- Proven Experience:
- Successful track record as an SAP S/4 Implementation Architect, leading large-scale projects.
- Experience in manufacturing in automotive or car battery companies is a plus.
