We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team as an S/4HANA Release Manager with extensive experience in SAP RISE with exposure to Brownfield technical upgrades. This role will focus on managing the technical operations, releases, and enhancements of SAP S/4HANA systems, with a particular emphasis on SAP RISE environments. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, strategic planning, and operational excellence to ensure the seamless functioning of our SAP landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
S/4HANA Basis Administration:
MUST have skills:
- Manage the technical foundation of SAP S/4HANA systems in both on-premises and SAP RISE environments and In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture, Basis administration, and SAP ecosystem components.
- Hands-on experience and able to execute SUM DMO to do conversion of ECC to S/4HANA on RISE.
- Able to perform heterogenous Operating System & Database Migration of boundary applications to Cloud Hyperscaler.
- Integrate S/4HANA and Netweaver applications with SAP BTP and third-party applications.
- Should be familiar & troubleshoot with Vistex, Datasphere, SAP Disclosure Management, Archiving, SAP Solution Manager, Fiori, BW, SRM, Load Balancers, Firewalls etc.
SUPPORTING Skills
- Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Basis administration and architecture. Knowledge of database management (HANA preferred) and operating systems (Linux, Windows)
- Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization technologies, and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Strong Experience with HANA XS/Experience on SAP HANA Administration / Operations and to make recommendations to improve performance.
- Proficiency in SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, Technical Monitoring, Business Process Monitoring, Test Suite, CTS+ and related tools.
- Hands-on experience with SAP RISE services, including provisioning, monitoring, and cloud migration.
Release Management:
- Develop and execute a robust release management process for SAP S/4HANA, ensuring smooth deployments of updates, enhancements, and fixes.
- Manage releases among AMS (N) and Projects (N+1) landscape, retrofit configuration on both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Plan and coordinate release schedules in collaboration with cross-functional teams, multi-vendor environment and minimizing system downtime.
- Ensure all changes are thoroughly tested, validated, and documented prior to deployment.
- Maintain a centralized release calendar and manage dependencies between environments.
- Drive continuous improvements in the release process to align with business and IT objectives.
SAP RISE-Specific Responsibilities:
- Leverage SAP RISE services to implement and maintain a scalable, cloud-based SAP landscape.
- Ensure alignment with SAP RISE's operational best practices and compliance requirements.
- Manage interactions with SAP RISE operations teams, including provisioning, monitoring, and system upgrades.
- Analyze cost, performance, and service levels specific to the SAP RISE framework, proposing optimizations where applicable.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as the primary technical advisor and point of contact for SAP RISE operations.
- Work closely with functional, technical, and business teams to align system performance with organizational goals.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on release status, system health, and project milestones.
- Facilitate technical troubleshooting sessions during critical incidents and system downtimes.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Identify opportunities for automation and performance enhancements in Basis operations and release processes.
- Stay updated with SAP RISE innovations, including advanced analytics, AI tools, and integration capabilities.
- Propose and implement tools, techniques, and frameworks to enhance system reliability and team efficiency.
Qualifications:
Professional Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration, with at least 3 years in SAP RISE environments.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale SAP implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
- Strong background in release management for SAP environments.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
- High level of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications in SAP S/4HANA Basis, SAP RISE, or HANA database administration are highly desirable.

Compensation Package : $85,500.00 - $114,000.00 CAD annually + bonus eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
