SAP PP & QM Support Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level and second-level support for SAP PP and QM-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems within the SAP PP and QM modules, including production orders, material requirements planning, quality inspections, and quality certificates.
• Handle support calls and tickets, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of user issues.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring PP and QM-related problems and implement preventive measures.
• Assist in maintaining and optimizing SAP PP and QM configurations and customizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex issues and implement solutions.
• Document support processes, solutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
• Monitor PP and QM system performance and suggest improvements.
• Participate in PP and QM system upgrades, patches, and new implementations as needed.
• Provide user training and guidance on SAP PP and QM functionality and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in SAP support, with a focus on PP and QM modules.
• Strong knowledge of SAP PP processes, including production planning, material requirements planning, and capacity planning.
• In-depth understanding of SAP QM processes, including quality planning, inspection, and control.
• Experience in handling support tickets and resolving PP and QM-related issues.
• Familiarity with SAP PP and QM reporting and analytics tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• SAP certification in Production Planning or Quality Management.
• Experience with SAP ECC Manufacturing and Quality Management.
• Knowledge of integration between PP/QM and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PM).
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps related to manufacturing and quality processes.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and quality management standards
• Experience with SAP ABAP development for PP/QM-specific customizations.
