Position Title: SAP PP Analyst
Location: McKinley West, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig
Work arrangements: Full time office (but open for Hybrid as well, 3 days from office and 2 days from home)
Position Overview:
As an SAP PP Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Production Planning (PP) solutions to support manufacturing and production processes. You will work closely with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless MRP (Material Requirements Planning), demand management, shop floor execution, and production optimization. This role requires hands-on experience in SAP PP configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with MM, MES, and other modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP PP Configuration and Process Optimization:
- Configure and optimize SAP PP functionalities, including Make-to-Stock (MTS), Make-to-Order (MTO), and Kanban processes.
- Manage PP master data, including BOMs, routings, work centers/resources, planned orders, and MRP configurations.
- Define and manage planning and optimization processes, including safety stock, min-max replenishment, and reorder points.
- Ensure strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in SAP Forecasting, Demand Management, MRP, and Shop Floor Execution.
- Set up and configure MRP and other planning parameters to align with business needs.
- Production Execution and System Integration:
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP PP and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) integration issues, including IDOC processing failures.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP PP and MM, covering goods movement, backflushing, automatic goods receipt, and production order management.
- Support cut-over activities, data migration, and post-go-live production support.
- Testing, Documentation, and Training:
- Create and execute PP Functional Design Specifications, test plans, and integration testing scripts.
- Develop training materials and support business users in understanding SAP PP functionalities.
- Conduct end-to-end testing and hypercare support for SAP PP implementations.
- Incident Management and Continuous Improvement:
- Provide incident resolution, service request handling, and enhancement support for SAP PP users.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within production planning.
- Ensure alignment of SAP PP solutions with business requirements and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 6 to 9 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP design, configuration, and implementation.
- Strong expertise in MRP, demand management, production planning, and shop floor execution.
- Hands-on experience in Variant Configuration, Engineering Change Management, and S/4HANA (preferred).
- Experience with PP-MM integration, including goods movement, STO processes, and reservations.
- Hands-on experience with LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) and data load activities.
- Ability to lead a small team of 3 to 5 consultants across multiple locations.
- Experience with SAP QM, handling unit management, and EWM (preferred).
- Familiarity with Solution Manager, ARIS, MS Visio, and Application Lifecycle Management (preferred).
