Job Description

We are looking for an SAP FICO Consultant to support the Discovery Phase of the Rise with SAP project. This role is instrumental in transitioning the system landscape from SAP ECC to the latest release of SAP S/4. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in SAP Finance and Controlling, with a strong background in configuration, functional specification, and integration to master data management. This position requires collaboration with core workstreams and program leadership to ensure seamless integration across modules.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Lead functional consulting efforts for SAP-FI and SAP-CO modules.
• Collaborate with core workstreams (O2C, Manufacturing, SCM, PLM, etc.) and the program manager to align with project goals.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP FI-AA, FI-AR, FI-GL standards, reporting, and integration processes.
• Drive configuration and functional specification efforts, ensuring alignment with master data management.
• Support ERP migration from third-party products to SAP ECC and facilitate the transition to SAP S/4.
• Ensure seamless integration across SAP modules, leveraging industry best practices.
• Work in a creative, team-oriented environment while maintaining strong business focus and independence.
• Adapt to remote work and international travel requirements, including potential trips to China (Chongqing).

Qualifications

• 10+ years as an SAP FICO SME, with a deep understanding of SAP-FI and SAP-CO.
• Strong expertise in SAP FI-AA, FI-AR, FI-GL, reporting, integration, and functional configuration.
• Hands-on involvement in large ERP migrations and SAP Discovery Phases.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and strong leadership qualities.
• Ability to engage with cross-functional teams and core workstreams.
• Fluency in English and German.
