Job Description

Title : SAP Consultant FICO (Individual contributor role)

Department : IT

Location : Navi Mumbai, India

Reporting to: Director Finance

Job Responsibility:
• Responsibility for supporting, implementing, and coordinating Issues, changes, and projects in the SAP environment and the interfacing areas with the SAP System. • SAP S/4 HANA Data migration in SAP Finance Master / transaction Data including GL Accounts, Assets, GL/AR /AP Balances etc. • Defines and implements best business practices, adhering to the business standards • Support on SAP Data Migration with creating functional documentation for data migration. • Act as direct liaison with Finance business and Global & Regional team for troubleshooting, business process mapping and system enhancements.
• Analysing and defining solutions within the Incident, Change, and Project Processes.
• Suggesting areas of improvement and initiatives.
• Cooperating with consultants from other streams such as O2C, P2P. • Supports for monthly, Quarterly, and year-end activities • Leading SAP system and integration testing and production go live activities • Ability to lead business workshops for blueprinting activities
• Understanding business issues and data challenges.
• Support in Regular Audit activities.
• Developing functional system design specifications, while recommending technical solutions.
• Taking responsibility for 1st level support.
• Day to day to support on Finance function

Education:

Minimum CA Experience - 5+ of Overall experience in SAP Finance Implementations / Rollouts 1-2 Yrs. of experience with S/4 HANA Implementations
Prior Experience Domain - Chemical Manufacturing SAP - Must posses’ core strength in SAP Finance (SAP FI) and SAP Controlling (SAP CO)

KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE SKILLS: 

• Hands-on SAP FI/CO implementation and support work experience
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4Hana FI/CO and localization related business processes with hands on SAP configuration experience and understanding of integrations with other modules of SAP S/4Hana.
• Must have proven ability to support multiple projects on an aggressive timeline
• Knowledge of financial processes with preference of SAP FI/CO,
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities on assigned tasks
• Serve as a primary technical point of contact to discuss new requirements and provide knowledge of development environments and processes
• Hands-on SAP FI/CO implementation and support work experience
• Should have integration knowledge of FI/CO with other SAP modules (MM and SD)
• Should have in depth SAP experience with FI Configuration which includes General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Asset Accounting.
• SAP Controlling configuration which include General controlling, Cost centre accounting, Cost element accounting, Profit centre accounting, Product Costing, Material Ledger, Project system
• Must be an SAP accounting, costing and Local India tax expert.
