SAP COE D2R Business Analysis Expert

SAP PP-QM Business Analysis Specialist based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
• The position will be working as part of the Global SAP Centre of Excellence.
• This position requires expertise in SAP PP and QM modules such as Production Planning, Process orders management, material BOM, recipe, production version, Inspection plan, test method and inspection lot management.
• Involvement in the preparation, conception, realization, and Go Live of S/4 Hana deployment projects within PPG affiliated companies.
• Defining detailed Fit-Gap Analysis, Functional Specifications and Configuration Cookbooks in meeting both business and PPG’s Global Template Requirements.
• Involvement in the Unit Test (UT)/System Integration Test (SIT) scripts preparation and test execution.
• Involvement and supporting User Acceptance Test (UAT).
• Developing and supporting knowledge transfer documentations and process.
• This position has a dual purpose of leading small projects and long term support which will includes hands on resolution of incidents, system enhancement requests, and project support.
• Your scope will be global for our Architectural Coatings, Protective and Marine Coatings, Industrial Coatings and other business units according to our S/4 roadmap.
• Within a matrix organization you will report to the D2R Operations Lead, APAC
• You will be proactive in building excellent working relationships with both your IT colleagues and business stakeholders
• You will need to be a self-starter who can quickly develop good understanding of our SAP template (within 1 – 3 months)
• You will be required to build knowledge of our SBU processes within a short timeframe (1 – 3 months) in order to facilitate rapid solutioning
• You will be required to evaluate the x-stream impact of any solutions proposed and ensure that SAP standard/our foundational template is adhered to as closely as possible
You’ll need to have:
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including technical writing
• Min 5 years’ experience with strong process knowledge of SAP S/4 PP and QM modules
• Played a Consultant role in some SAP S/4 implementations for these modules.
• Strong knowledge of business processes within the Supply Chain and Manufacturing area.
• We need you to be an outstanding self-starter with a commitment to delivering high quality work in pressurized environments
• Be comfortable working independently in a “remote working” organization
• A 4-year degree in Information Management, Computer Science or other business-related field is required
• A strong team player.

Your knowledge of SAP must include:
• Deep understanding of SAP S/4 PP and QM modules and of end to end business processes within supply chain, manufacturing and quality management.
• Rich experience in the process design, configuration and trouble-shooting of SAP S/4 modules
• understanding of interfaces between SAP and MES system via standard IDOCs and BAPIs
Preferred Requirements:
• ABAP basics (be able to debug) will be an advantage
• MBA is preferred
• APICS certification and/or understanding on MES will be an advantage.
• Knowing SAP PP/DS will be an advantage
