Job Summary

Accenture is seeking a skilled and passionate SAP CAP Consultant to work from our offices located in Lisbon, Braga and Coimbra. Applicants must have experience in SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) and a strong background in SAP development.

Selected candidates will take part in SAP projects for global & leading companies across Europe.

Responsibilities:

• 3+ years of hands-on development experience with SAP BTP, CAP, and Node.js, including extensive backend service development

• Strong proficiency in microservices architecture, API design (REST, OData), and cloud-based application development

• Strong proficiency in microservices architecture, API design (REST, OData), and cloud-based application development

• Proven track record in building cloud-native applications with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance

• Expertise in SAP BTP services and integration, including CAP model, Cloud Foundry, Kyma, and related technologies

• Solid experience with Node.js for backend service development, including Express.js or similar frameworks

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of database technologies, especially SAP HANA, and working with data models in CAP applications

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently analyze and resolve complex technical issues

• Proficient in Git, Version Control, and collaboration in a distributed development environment

• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP Fiori or SAPUI5 for front-end development, particularly in Fiori Elements

• Exposure to Serverless Architecture or Event-Driven Systems

• Knowledge of SAP Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) and its integration with CAP

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) for iterative development and cross-functional team collaboration.
