Position Title: SAP ABAP Technical Consultant
Location: McKinley West, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig
Work arrangements: Full time office (but open for Hybrid as well, 3 days from office and 2 days from home)
Position Overview:
As an SAP ABAP Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting SAP applications using ABAP programming. You will work closely with functional teams to design, develop, and implement custom SAP solutions, including RICEFW objects, integrations, and enhancement techniques. Your expertise in ABAP on HANA, OOPS, IDOCs, Web Services, OData, and Smart Forms will be crucial in delivering high-performance SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- ABAP Development and Customization:
- Design and develop custom ABAP programs using Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts.
- Implement and enhance RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) objects.
- Develop Module Pool Programming for advanced UI applications in SAP..
- Integration and Data Handling:
- Work on SAP integrations using IDOCs, Proxies, and Web Services.
- Develop and optimize ABAP on HANA code, leveraging CDS Views, AMDP, and advanced SQL scripting.
- Create and manage OData services for SAP Fiori and other external applications.
- Forms, Enhancements, and Debugging:
- Develop and enhance Smart Forms and Adobe Forms for business document generation.
- Implement SAP enhancement techniques such as BADIs, BAPIs, and User Exits.
- Perform advanced debugging and troubleshooting of ABAP programs to ensure system performance and stability.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide technical support and maintenance for existing SAP applications and custom developments.
- Ensure best practices in ABAP development and SAP customization.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS).
- Experience in developing IDOCs, Web Services, and Proxies for SAP integrations.
- Proficiency in ABAP on HANA, including CDS Views and AMDP (added advantage).
- Experience with OData services for SAP Fiori applications.
- Strong understanding of Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Enhancement Frameworks.
- Excellent debugging and performance optimization skills.
