Position Overview: Zifo is looking for a talented Scientific Application Analyst for the LATAM region to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, implement, and support the configuration of ThermoFisher SampleManager scientific applications, including Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN). You will work closely with pharmaceutical and biotech clients to gather requirements, provide solutions, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document requirements from clients to tailor scientific applications to their needs.
- Develop and implement solutions using ThermoFisher's SampleManager and/or Nautilus LIMS. Experience with ELN, and other informatics platforms highly desirable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project execution.
- Review / Test / UAT components and other deliverables. Evaluate and mitigate technical challenges during implementation and customization.
- Understand configuration management process. Provide ongoing support and training to users to optimize application performance.
- Lead, coordinate and run independently Demos and Workshops with clients.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency of one or more coding languages, especially JAVA and/or C# programming experience is required, expertise with Java is highly desirable. Candidate should be able to solve a basic programming problems during the interview.
- Scientific Background such as Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Technology, Informatics, or a related field desirable but not required.
- 3-5 years of experience in application configuration or implementation in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
- Good understanding of one or more industry domains: Biopharma, Biotech, Chemicals, Health, Food, etc.
- Strong understanding of scientific workflows and laboratory processes.
- Experience with LIMS, ELN, and other laboratory informatics solutions is essential.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish.
- Experience working in manufacturing / pharmaceutical Environment (GxP).
