The Developer is experienced at building and maintaining asset libraries and knowledgeable of different deployment methods from email to mobile to cloud pages. Understanding how complex data integrates to drive content for highly personalized experiences across these channels is crucial to the daily expectations for the role while collaborating with the client and internal stakeholders.
Success in this position will be measured by the developer’s ability to demonstrate expertise of frontend development passing quality assurance and deploying email campaigns on-time while contributing to the team’s high client satisfaction scores.
We’re searching for an Email Developer to support the daily operations of digital messaging (email, push, SMS) programs using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). This role collaborates with internal teams to deliver high-quality service that is on-time and exceeds client expectations. This individual will be proficient in campaign management methodologies from build and quality assurance checks to segmentation and deployment configuration to send initiation. What you’ll do:
- Implement the day-to-day operational tasks to build, test, and launch simple to sophisticated campaign workflows within SFMC
- Setup campaigns inclusive of build and deploy in most efficient approach considering data management and audience creation requirements and SFMC platform solutions
- Apply QA checklist with keen attention to detail and lead functional testing/approval of campaign logic, templates, and content to launch campaigns with a 0% error rate
- Monitor email efforts for errors and performance as accuracy is our number one goal
- Provide basic reports or data extracts as needed
- Maintain daily interaction with campaign leads, provide status of campaigns, and assist in updating the program calendar and ticketing system
- Contribute ideas and feedback for process improvement
- Support in requirements gathering and solution validation for new campaigns and project implementations
- Work towards SFMC certifications, if not already achieved
What you’ll need:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in email campaign management and using email automation platforms, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Ability to read and understand code (HTML/CSS, SQL) is required for email development and audience creation
- Introductory level knowledge of scripting emails for personalization and dynamic content, preferably with AMPscript inside the SFMC platform
