Why you will love this opportunity as Salesforce Lead Engineer at Civica
Civica India is seeking an experienced, creative and self-motivated Technical Lead with considerable exposure to all areas within the Salesforce platform who is keen to join a multi-cultural software company.
The Technical Lead must be able to act as the overall design authority and be accountable for all aspects of technical delivery for projects, covering the business and technical needs including the technical release deployment processes. You will be part of our Centre of Excellence in Vadodara.
You will be involved in the design, development, and testing of projects, as well as mentoring, providing technical guidance to the team and attending stakeholder meetings. You will be fully responsible for the project's technical design and quality. You will also coordinate design activities, promoting discipline and ensuring project consistency.
Travel to the UK / Australia may be necessary. This can be at short notice and this frequency is not guaranteed as all travel is based on a clear business or project requirement. A passport is essential.
- Must have minimum 5+ years of relevant Salesforce technical experience, including integrations.
- Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycles, tools and methods to support seamless deployments, including refresh cycles and overall environment management.
- Ability to work at detailed and abstract levels.
- Ability to mentor team of engineers and work with third party vendors as required.
- Keen interest in researching updates from Salesfoce and keeping on top of new feature releases.
- Track record of delivering commitments on time and quality.
- Fluent in spoken English and able to take part in meetings and discussions.
Technical competencies:
- Extensive experience with Salesforce development tools including LWC, Visualforce, Apex and other tools with supporting up to date certifications
- Hands-on experience in Salesforce service cloud ( Case Management, Milestones & Entitlements, Macros, Automation Flows - Screen Flow, auto launched flow etc, Knowledge management).
- API, REST services, Javascript and experience with integrations to corporate web sites and bespoke solutions
- Enterprise application design
- Mentoring team and providing technical guidance
Desirable:
- Single Sign On (e.g. SAML, oAuth, Active Directory, ADFS)
- Data migration processes to and from Salesforce, including clear data model and schema understanding
- Integration experience to other Salesforce modules other than service Cloud as well as third party solutions such as Eloqua, LinkedIn and various Appex change solutions
- Modernization/redevelopment of legacy applications
- Azure DevOps Management/JIRA
- Agile practices
