Responsibilities

Solution Implementation:

  • Develop, customize, and implement solutions on Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize B2B and B2C Commerce Cloud solutions
  • Contribute to the Order Management System (OMS) implementations and enhancements
  • Manage deployment pipelines and release processes, leveraging tools like Copado (preferred)
  • Take ownership of projects and deliver quality solutions within timelines
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and provide innovative solutions aligned with Owens & Minor’s core values.
  • Utilize knowledge of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and Marketing Cloud to enhance customer-facing and internal processes

Integration & Technical acumen:

  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems
  • Oversee the implementation of complex Salesforce features, such as custom objects, Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and flows
  • Ensure the quality and performance of the implemented solutions through code reviews, testing, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with other systems and external data sources
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security protocols
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring platform stability and performance

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
  • Strong expertise in Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud development and customization
  • Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications are preferred, such as Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud or B2B Commerce Cloud Specialist
  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce platform components, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, App Cloud, and Platform Developer tools
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce development technologies
  • Experience with integration technologies such as APIs, web services, and middleware solutions
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data security principles
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in mentoring team members
