Become a part of the global Salesforce IT team at Circle K, a leader in the convenience store industry. As a key member of Circle K’s Enterprise Systems and Automations Department, you will contribute to delivering innovative Salesforce solutions across a network spanning 13 countries. Our team is committed to providing daily support to end-users, continuously customizing and optimizing product features, and developing advanced solutions that address complex business needs. Working closely with various vendors, we ensure the smooth integration of maintenance and development services to elevate our Salesforce ecosystem.

Circle K is looking for a new team player who will join our team as:

Salesforce Solution & Application Designer

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Solution & Application Designer to help shape and optimize our Salesforce environment. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design and refine solutions that meet our business needs across various Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, CRM Analytics (Tableau), and Revenue Cloud. This role is ideal for a solution-focused professional with the ability to understand and review technical designs, ensuring alignment with best practices and business objectives.

Key Requirements

  • Higher Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or another STEM field.
  • Salesforce Experience: 3+ years of experience in a Salesforce solution or application design role, with a track record of translating business requirements into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • CRM and Database Knowledge: At least 5 years of hands-on experience with CRM systems and databases; familiarity with Salesforce architecture and technical design principles is preferred.
  • Integration Design Experience: Experience in analyzing requirements, designing and overseeing the implementation of integrations between systems to ensure a seamless flow of data and functionality across platforms.
  • Technical Review Skills: Ability to understand and review technical designs provided by developers, ensuring they align with functional requirements and best practices.
  • Certifications: Salesforce certifications are a plus, reflecting your commitment to maintaining a high level of proficiency in the platform.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong consulting and decision-making skills, with creativity and flexibility in developing solutions.
  • Project Coordination: Experience in coordinating activities across multiple teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
  • Communication & Language Skills: Fluent English skills for daily collaboration, paired with strong presentation and facilitation abilities. Able to convey complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, with flexibility to occasionally meet outside regular working hours to collaborate with colleagues across different time zones.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Solution & Functional Design: Lead the design of solution and functional aspects of the Salesforce platform to ensure alignment with business requirements and scalability.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze needs, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of new functionalities.
  • Technical Design Review: Review technical designs prepared by developers to ensure they meet functional requirements, align with Salesforce best practices, and support system scalability.
  • Integration Design: Support the design of integrations with other systems, helping to expand Salesforce functionality and create seamless workflows.
  • Documentation & Governance: Develop and maintain functional design documentation and assist in ensuring that technical documentation is thorough and up to date.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Salesforce advancements and recommend enhancements that improve system performance and user satisfaction.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the refinement of the software development lifecycle and governance processes to support a robust Salesforce environment.
