Sales Support Specialist - Hybrid - Bohemia, NY

Sartorius has an opportunity for a Sales Support Specialist. You will be responsible for providing the sales team with routine administrative support and enhancing the efficiency of the sales process between Sartorius and its customers. Based at our Bohemia, NY (Long Island) headquarters, you will support the internal sales team.

This is a Hybrid Role - 3 Days at home, 2 days in our Bohemia, NY office

• Provide timely and effective administrative support to a sales team
• One of your tasks will be to draft complex service sales documentation, reports, and correspondence
• In this role, you will handle customer phone calls in the absence of service sales reps and back the Order Process Management team to ensure all customer calls are answered
• Proactively contribute to additional projects that align with the department's vision and goals
• Process sample orders
• Provide stock and lead times to sales and customers
• One of your goals will be to maintain a 24–48-hour response time on all requests
• Maintain all Customer Specific Pricing
• You will manage and draft complex sales documentation, reports, and correspondence
• You will be expected to provide status on contract acceptance, route complete contracts, and send purchase orders to the contracts team
• One of your duties will be to manage the shared mailboxes on a rotating schedule.
• Other duties as required

What will convince us:

• Bachelor's degree or associate degree with 2+ years of equivalent experience
• Experience in a sales support role
• You possess 2+ years of work experience in customer service or order processing
• You have proven reporting skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office and/or any field management software
