Signature Hardware is looking to add the role of Sales Support Product Specialist – Signature Hardware to help grow its success through a stronger sales-focused team. As a Product Specialist, you will provide a valuable source of training, product presentation, and sales tools to Our Brand Business Partners (OBBPs), showroom teams, and beyond. This is a field Sales Support role and could include extensive travel. An auto-allowance, fuel card, and expense account are provided.
Location: This position will be based at our Erlanger, KY Headquarters (Cincinnati Ohio Metro area). We may consider Remote for the right individual who lives outside of the Cincinnati Metro area. However, you will need to be in the Eastern Time Zone.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Act as the subject matter authority for bathroom and kitchen fixturing, hardware, and accessories as well as vanity cabinets and mirrors, and create, provide input, and roll out valuable training collateral and materials.
- Create and maintain training binders and the online digital library of training assets.
- Create and maintain ongoing relationships with the National Sales Manager (VP of Sales), the OBBPs, Showroom Associates, and leadership as well as the President of Signature Hardware.
- Gather critical technical product information from internal partners in Product Development, disseminate and share with the Sales Organization as new or updated products are confirmed.
- Assist in developing sales training presentations based on the needs of the field organization.
- Facilitate product, sales, and system training with sales associates – in person in the field, in the Signature Hardware offices, and virtually.
- Maintain a constant belief in the importance of supporting the sales organization.
- Continually improve product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field.
- Provide a high level of customer service support with product expertise and advanced selling skills.
- Inform management of product issues that arise from problems identified by customer service support and the field team.
- Possess and apply detailed product knowledge and thorough knowledge of ongoing business growth within Ferguson Showrooms and beyond.
- Work with project management, VP of Sales, President and Product Development on the creation of future vignette programs in the Ferguson Showrooms and beyond – always thinking of presenting Signature Hardware fully representing full collections and telling a complete story.
- Assist the Creative and Studio Production Teams in the ideation of future rooms for photo assets
- Future creation of a shop-in-shop program for key Ferguson Showrooms and other external partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in industry-related outside/ inside sales, project management, project coordinator, training, and design preferred
- Experience with case goods and home decor strongly preferred
- Experience reading specification sheets, or drawings, preferred
- Strong proficiency with computer and software programs, including all Microsoft Applications including Excel, Illustrator, or light graphics abilities.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with people at multiple levels of the organization
- Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and multitasking skills needed, including the ability to prioritize multiple, urgent requests
- Proven time management and organizational skills
- Detailed and able to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Self-starter, creative problem solver, and self-sufficient

Pay Range:

$4,124.70 - $9,075.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
