About Sales Strategy Operations & Enablement
As a Sales Strategy Operations & Enablement team, our mission is to power sustainable revenue growth for Pinterest with data-driven strategic insights and decision making, tight management against them and high-impact revenue management. We also drive seller competence and productivity with result-oriented training and activation programs. As we inform critical business decisions driving revenue growth and enable execution, members of the team are highly visible to senior Sales Leadership at Pinterest and throughout the organization at large.
What You’ll Do
Leveraging your expertise in strategy, analysis, operations and project management, you will directly support the leadership team of the Sales Strategy Operations & Enablement (SSOE) team in ensuring the seamless definition and execution of strategic priorities, effective management of high-impact initiatives and day-to-day operations.
Reporting to the VP of Sales Strategy, Operations & Enablement, this role will partner closely with all SSOE team leads to maximize our organizational impact. In this role, you will:
- Drive strategic planning: Orchestrate planning across the Global Sales Organization (and within SSOE), partner with relevant stakeholders to articulate priorities into a cohesive global sales strategy, monitor progress to ensure velocity, and address challenges. Lead reviews of lessons learned to iterate. Contribute to key initiatives with strategic, analytical or operational support.
Accelerate critical projects: Work across SSOE and across functions to execute high-priority projects with velocity. Ensure timely actioning against new opportunities or risks coming out of top sales and executive leadership discussions - connecting the dots with existing SSOE activities and surfacing any blockers. Represent SSOE leadership for select projects.
- Enable leadership decision-making: Set agendas, articulate critical insights & need-to-know’s, prepare documents, and coordinate with relevant parties for SSOE-led meetings, including global sales leadership discussions and internal SSOE team sessions.
Champion SSOE prioritization and accountability: Own quarterly and monthly processes for setting internal SSOE goals and monitoring progress. Ensure cross-functional alignment where applicable. Lead business reviews to analyze progress, identify opportunities, and surface/address challenges. Support SSOE leadership in getting ahead of critical milestones and due dates.
- Mobilize SSOE: Plan and execute approach to foster collaboration and intra-team alignment on critical SSOE-led initiatives before they launch and optimize internal and external information flows to maximize our collective impact.
Who We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of professional experience in strategy & operations in highly analytical and demanding environments such as management consulting, investment banking, or tech/media companies
- Understanding of sales and digital advertising platforms strongly preferred
- Proven track record of managing at both strategic and operational levels, with equal excitement for both
- Experience advising senior leaders on strategy, organization, and operations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex business challenges
- Outstanding project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives
- Expert at translating complex insights and data into clear, actionable recommendations and compelling executive-ready stories
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Self-starter who thinks creatively and strategically
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, economics, statistics, or a related field or equivalent experience
In-Office Requirement Statement
We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection. This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration approx. one day per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from the SF office.
