Responsibilities include consulting on software configurations, conducting presentations, analyzing customer processes, creating documentation, and providing training to clients.

The Sales Application Specialist will use their healthcare, business and InterSystems product knowledge to act as an expert advisor with clients, prospects and internal InterSystems teams, and make high impact presentations in a successful way. 

The Sales Application Specialist must be an “expert” and understand the customer process, assess solution best fit and advise the customer how to best implement the solution to get better results.
It is therefore essential, that they keep up to date with new product developments as they become available through the regular product release cycle.  

This role will act also as a Subject Matter Expert for the Billing / PAS / Revenue Cycle Management module of our TrakCare Product. The successful individual will have come from a Healthcare Billing background and have an in-depth knowledge understanding of the billing rules and billing workflows, and requirements within the private and public hospitals in LATAM.

The Sales Application Specialist must be available to visit prospects and customer sites and may be assigned to task that require travel.

The Sales Application Specialist will undertake the following Skills:

Essential
•    Excellent communication skills and experience of conducting customer training, workshops and/or presentations.
•    Excellent consultative skills ability to articulate and communicate ideas.
•    Experience interacting directly with customers, and confidently delivering strong messaging.
•    At least 3 years’ experience working in healthcare and a good understanding of administrative and/or clinical processes/ Billing RCM.
•    Experience in software solution configuration and implementation.
•    Experience contributing to a multi-disciplined team.
•    Experience with writing functional documents.
•    Experience of business process mapping.
•    Knowledge of Information Systems.
•    Experience in communicating with key stakeholders at various levels within healthcare organisations which may be government/public and/or private sector businesses.
•    Exposure to IT services in a customer-facing setting.

Key Responsibilities
•    Review proposal and tender documentation prior to release to customer and inform colleagues on gaps in areas of functionality.
•    Analyze customer processes, with the objective of understanding how our solutions fit with the customer´s requirements.
•    Setup, configurate and make presentations of InterSystems solutions in the sales environment. 
•    Identify gaps and possible solutions Run Edition Proposed solution presentations with the customer and create the documentation to include this in the product.
•    Consult and advise the customer as to how adopting InterSystems solution could benefit the customer to improve their existing processes.
•    Propose solutions for customer problems by mapping existing product components and minimize the need for variations from standard ISC products lines including where relevant Regional Editions.
•    Produce clear documentation (business requirements/maps, solution design document, validation scripts).
•    Work with the customer to ensure early data collection information is gathered correctly and as per the schedule.

Education & Training
Desirable    

•    University degree in Science or Engineering or Clinical
•    Proficiency in English
