Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Sales Skyline Senior Manager (Level M) to lead the Sales Skyline team based out of Renton, WA.
The Sales Skyline team is chartered with growing Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) backlog in a way that maximizes value while protecting customer needs and operational requirements.
The leader of this team is expected to empower and develop a highly capable team; manage stakeholder relationships across the business; influence decision making in a fast-paced environment; and bring organization and resiliency to the systems and processes used to manage future delivery streams.
Looking for a collaborative thinker and leader who quickly recognizes sources of value and can balance trade-offs to achieve the greatest net-sum. The successful candidate will lead a strong team who contributes directly to Boeing’s top and bottom lines as part of the sales process.
- Collaborative leadership: This position requires working across all levels and functions throughout Boeing Commercial Airplanes. You will be leading a team of subject matter experts tasked with balancing value levers across the business, ultimately ensuring win-win solutions within the commitment of new airplane orders.
- Intellectually curious, creative mindset: Balancing numerous constraints and opportunities with a mindset toward flexibility means the most creative thinker and problem solver will realize the best results.
- Airline fleet management knowledge: Delighting customers requires an ability to empathize with them. Experience and understanding of how an airline values delivery timing and flexibility will create a better chance to find win-win solutions that maximize value capture.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage employees responsible for growing and diversifying the value of the BCA backlog within the planned production constraints
- Exercise decision authority to ensure availability is managed appropriately to maintain competitiveness for offered and yet to be offered delivery streams
- Partner with commercial selling teams and customers to create win-win opportunities as it relates to delivery timing and flexibility
- Partner with Airplane Program peers to ensure production constraints support market competitiveness
- Restore customer trust by driving predictability into rescheduling delivery timing of previously sold backlog
- Partner with program and finance leaders to improve financial forecasting related to backlog delivery timing
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 10+ years of aviation industry experience with a focus on project/program management
- 10+ years of experience with company strategy development & execution
- 10+ years of experience working across different business units and disciplines to drive collaboration and results
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Master’s Degree
- Airline fleet management experience

Summary pay range: $198,000 - $230,000
