This is an exciting opportunity to join Merrell, a global brand in a new position with a head office in London and working across the EMEA regions (20 Markets). You will be responsible for supporting the Financial Planning Manager by managing sales reports and data. Providing data analysis and direction of sales at both a customer and product level.
KEY DUTIES:
- Support Key Account growth by analysing historical orders book compared to current to seek opportunities to drive revenue & margin growth. This will require product knowledge to help meet the customer’s expectations.
- Support analysis of customer sell-through data to identify opportunities to replenish and to keep sales/product teams informed on how their product is performing in the market.
- Regular reporting on key trading information across multiple currencies. Business partner with demand planning and merchandising teams as part of the End to End buying process to help optimise sales forecasting, buying and inventory management.
- Prepare seasonal pricing file and analyse against sales/margin targets.
- Analyse replenishment on key marketing styles before and after marketing spend to monitor effectiveness of marketing.
- Utilise Power BI to present data and perform analysis to identify trends.
- Perform other duties and Adhoc analysis as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in finance
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint required. SAP/BW and Power BI desired
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Good interpersonal skills
