Summary
Are you passionate about data, sales operations, and making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment? As a Sales Operations Intern, you’ll join our Revenue Operations team and support critical sales and marketing initiatives. From redefining territories to managing inbound leads and improving data quality, your work will directly contribute to business success.
You'll gain hands-on experience with tools like Salesforce, learn sales and marketing operations fundamentals, and work with a supportive team that values curiosity, initiative, and growth. **Location Note** This internship is based in Santa Barbara, CA. Interns are expected to work onsite at least three days per week, with a minimum of five hours per day. It’s a great way to stay connected, collaborate face-to-face, and maximize hands-on learning with the team.
Responsibilities
- Track and manage inbound and marketing-generated leads
- Clean and update account and contact data in Salesforce
- Support data quality initiatives for sales and marketing, including segmentation and reporting
- Collaborate with team members to improve lead management and conversion
- Help maintain and enhance Salesforce reports and dashboards
Requirements
- Availability for at least 3 months (with potential to extend based on performance)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with curiosity, initiative, and a growth mindset
- Interest in learning Salesforce and understanding sales/marketing ops
- Familiarity with Google Sheets or other spreadsheet tools
- Must be able to work onsite in Santa Barbara at least 3 days per week, for 5+ hours per day
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week during standard business hours
Bonus
- Prior experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
- Exposure to data management, reporting, or segmentation
- Understanding of basic sales or marketing concepts
LOCATION
Artera HQ is in Santa Barbara, CA. This is an in-office role.

Our Santa Barbara HQ, Philadelphia and Budapest offices are currently hybrid. We also hire in LA-area, SF/Bay Area, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Seattle and Kansas City areas. We do not currently have offices there, but are looking to that in the future
