As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets for your region. You will be responsible for ensuring all opportunities within your region are maximized to grow YETI’s footprint and business revenue in the very best independent dealers across a multitude of channels. Staff training, merchandising, providing customer service support whilst developing new opportunities are all important elements of the role.
Have a deep understanding of global brand building and passion for developing and implementing customer-obsessed partnerships. Working closely with the Senior Manager - Commercial, you will deliver exceptional results whilst working with a robust call cycle and plan. You are experienced, well organized and have a can-do attitude. Your focus on results and desire to prioritize activities with the biggest impact will ensure you are successful in this demanding and fast paced performance-based role. You are a team player and roll your sleeves up to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets, identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities

Bring ideas, passion and capability to every opportunity. Help us grow and protect this brand with an obsessive compulsion

Represent YETI at consumer and trade-related events

Analyze POS data to evaluate opportunities and potential issues

Collaborate with internal and external demand planning teams on monthly account level forecasts
-
Analyze and recommend optimal product mix on a per store basis based off not only data but regional nuances and truly understanding the landscape and end consumer

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders to drive sales growth and enhance company reputation

Deliver exceptional staff training and in-store merchandising with all retail partners, while managing online training uptake

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to drive strategic decisions and continuous improvement

Provide premium YETI customer service support for our retail partners and customers including some head office functions

Maintain impeccable sales data, customer detail via Salesforce CRM tool
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
-
Proven track record in achieving results
-
Experience working with large multi-rooftop accounts
-
At least 4 years of professional sales experience (outdoor/fashion or sporting goods preferred)

Must be willing and able to travel extensively and spend time in market (approx. 35-45%)

Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a rapidly changing complex business environment

Must be a self-starter and be able to prioritize tasks and scheduling without direction

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to a variety of potential audiences clearly, concisely and intelligently

Comfortable presenting to a large audience

Exceptional ability to analyze the business and POS data

Strong sales leader with high level emotional intelligence

Ability to form lasting relationships

High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
