SALES MANAGER
The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Sales Manager. Candidates with a passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality sales operations and proven territory leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons. As a member of the Sales team, the Sales Manager drives a strategic plan and purpose towards account growth across multiple hotel disciplines to deliver exceptional experience and retention.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
-
Develop accounts (new and existing) by mapping specific business and buying tendencies. Include group profile for each meeting; maintain organized and professional plan for correspondence and follow up.

Perform daily telephone solicitations to new and existing accounts/customers in defined geographic region.

Promote awareness to corporate, incentive and association markets via travel to respective regions in the country providing presentations and personal sales calls.

Maintain communication/relationship with WSO network for specific assigned region, as well as other FS hotels toward achieving pre-determined revenue goal.

Create and execute an annual sales plan specific to market assignment.

Presentations skill proficiency in one-on-one, small group, or large forum requirements (up to 80ppl audience or more).

Promote local awareness through maintaining relationships with regional tourism authority and CVB in network. Attending local event planning opportunities for education and awareness.

Orchestrate strategic approach to property tours personally conducted and in absence of on-site capacity which includes detailed layouts of suggested space, methods of salesmanship and guidance for on-site replacement, and personal integration despite physical presence. Notifies appropriate resort leadership and communication channels for excellent outcomes.

Entertain customers while on property, conducts site inspections for own and other markets, visible to all clients in-house beyond own market, and highly engaged with hotel operations and leadership to expand personal brand awareness, connection, and relationship extension as a sales leader.

Work closely with conference services and catering throughout planning and execution of definite program; keeps Director of Special Events and senior hotel leadership promptly and fully informed of all business unusual, client feedback, and all measures to support favorable outcome of program development and execution. Ensures she/he is a product expert and strong problem-solver.

Coordinate all sales related activity in conjunction with guidance of the director of sales; negotiates contract specifics to achieve maximum profitability while satisfying customer needs.
WHAT TO BRING

Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
-
College education or equivalent experience
-
Must host strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities with finesse.
-
Capacity to present property in small and large client forums including developing messages of interest into visual presentations of concise sales strategies.
-
Typing 50-70 words per minute required, as well as strong Microsoft skill orientation.
-
Excellent knowledge of Delphi. FDC software preferred.
-
Knowledge of luxury Hawaii group markets and working experience in market preferred.
-
Five to seven years’ experience in a resort and/or hotel and or sales capacity.
-
Four Seasons and luxury competitive brand experience a plus.
-
Displays critical thinking, creative problem solving, and genuine solution-oriented thinking with a balance between needs, rationale and transparent communication, and profit balanced approach.

Capable of working with the use of software technologies to support sales functions up to 8-10 hours per shift.
