About the location:
A secluded oasis at the edge of an idyllic lagoon! On the east coast of Mauritius, lapped by turquoise waters perfect for water sports, our relaxing Resort is filled with lush greenery and dramatic views everywhere you turn. Purpose
To manage and supervise the sales of the allocated assigned market areas in returns to achieve the goal and target set.
Job Responsibilities
General
Lead by example and instils a culture of continuous learning and improvement; actively participates in Employee Relations activities and programmes.
Ensure maximization of productivity and achieving established goals; promotes harmony between departments.
Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests, tour operators and internal customers; lives the Golden Rule.
Demonstrates standards awareness, by setting example for standards execution, standards testing and implementing action plans to achieve established product and service goals
Prepares annual plans and forecasts, consistently monitors and manages budgetary goals.
Maintain a professional appearance at all times and to conduct personal behavior in a mature professional business manner when representing the resort or company
Departmental
Responsible for Four Seasons Mauritius, Four Seasons Seychelles and Four Seasons Serengeti hotels and resort
Manage current portfolio of business in your respective assigned market areas and constantly look for innovative ways to achieve growth.
Establish high visibility in assigned market areas through face to face meetings.
Achieve meaningful dialogue with collaborators at the highest possible level of current and potential customers.
Provide accurate revenue forecasts for your respective assigned market areas.
Work closely with all Sales and Marketing team – Four Seasons Mauritius, Four Seasons Seychelles and Four Seasons Serengeti.
Make sales calls on accounts in assigned market areas.
Travel and solicit business designated by the marketing plan and the Director of Marketing.
Follow-up on all leads and maintain a good relationship with the NSOs and other Four Seasons Hotels.
Maintain an effective plan of correspondence.
Negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying client needs.
Evaluate, solicit, sell and confirm business as required to meet individual goals and overall budgeted sales and profitability.
Develop data and recommend programs to meets clients needs as well as recommend alternate proposals.
Report on a monthly basis against plan/goal.
Always keep Director of Marketing /Sales promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so prompt corrective action can be taken where appropriate.
Follow-up on progress of all confirmed business.
Assist in planning, developing and executing projects for assigned market areas to increase sales activity, volume and profit.
The ability to maintain assigned files in accordance to guidelines outlined in account coverage programs.
Participate in sales meetings and related industry related organizations to represent the hotel and company.
Participate in sales meetings and related industry organizations to represent the hotel.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Senior Director of Marketing and Director of Sales
Perform any other cognate duties as and when required

Special Requirements

A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred.

3 years’ experience in direct sales with a luxury International Hotel.

Possess problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Fluent in English and/ or French language.
