The Sales Manager will implement sales strategies, manage sales teams, build relationships with key stakeholders, oversee product launches, and ensure compliance.

Sales
- Manage & implement local sales strategies, tactics & execution per year in line with country objectives. Accountable for growing sales in existing accounts and growing new accounts. From time to time, may be required to cover surgical cases.
- Create & maintain relationships with key hospital stakeholders including but not limited to:
- Chief Executives
- Procurement
- KOL’s
- Maintain appropriate levels of company quality service
- Corporate policy, legislation and quality compliance to meet national and international standards.
- Appropriate risk and asset management across all areas of responsibility
- Employee engagement scores (Q12)
- Work closely with Marketing to execute product launches, marketing events, HCP interactions, and needs assessment.
- Build capability of Sales Team through creating & implementing local rep training plans and ongoing coaching.
- Work closely with operations team to ensure stock level forecasting is in line with proposed marketing plans e.g. product launches, deletions etc
Leadership & People Management:
- Performance management and development of sales team, ongoing coaching
Compliance:
- Uphold the Compliance Culture and philosophy of the Company by ensuring the business is kept abreast and aligned to the highest code of ethic not limited to AVAMED
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical / Business / Engineering / Technology / Sales / Marketing / Commercial is preferable
Qualifications & experience:
- Experienced as sales representative of 5 years of above, preferably in surgical products
- People management experience in Sales functions for at least 2-3 years
- Proven track record of managing sales & marketing small team with specific proof of creating & executing on training, development, product launch & lifecycle management.
- 3-5 years of experience in surgical products is advantageous
Physical & mental requirements:
- Local market knowledge & understanding of local medical regulations is essential
- Ability to sell & negotiate with dealers & surgeons is essential
- Ability to create go to market plans essential
- Ability to lead & provide vision for sales teams & dealers
- Ability to troubleshoot & solve operational challenges with sales & marketing teams
- Be responsible & accountable for delivering on commitments to the organization
- Great relationship build capability with high ethics & integrity
- Self-motivated with strong drive and able to work with minimum supervision
- Be a key member of the local leadership team
Travel Percentage: 90%
