Role Purpose:

 

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the sales of Plataan’s Learning Journeys, a subscription-based cloud solution, across international markets. This individual will utilize value selling techniques to penetrate major accounts within the Companial member network and will also coach and support regional sales teams to achieve collective sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a B2B sales strategy for Learning Journeys, focusing on value selling over product selling.
  • Target key accounts within and beyond the Companial network, promoting continuous organizational learning.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers and ensure exceptional post-sales support and retention.
  • Guide and motivate Companial’s regional sales teams, providing coaching and support for successful execution of sales strategies.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and support teams to ensure alignment.
  • Represent the company at events to promote Learning Journeys and generate leads.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of international sales experience with a strong focus on value-based selling and consultative sales approaches, particularly in indirect channels.
  • Proven success in international B2B sales within learning, skilling, or technology-related solutions, with a passion for value selling over product selling.
  • Significant experience in selling cloud-based services, including training solutions, and familiarity with business software, especially Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Proven ability to coach and lead sales teams across regions, helping the Companial regional sales organization execute sales strategies effectively.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-based SaaS learning solutions and the partner channel.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Passionate advocate of value selling principles, with a proven ability to close complex deals.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and manage teams to achieve goals.
