Holman is looking for a Sales Manager to support the organization as the subject matter expert in the Holman value proposition within Emerging Technologies, as defined by technologies and innovations in new equipment asset classes, connectivity, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Sales Manager would align with Holman sales teams to qualify new prospects, identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services, complete site visits to assess client needs; consult with existing customers on Emerging Technologies, and align internal resources to assist with the sales process. This person is accountable for growth in both market share and profitability by account and portfolio and for documenting prospect communication, forecasting sales pipeline, and revenues through the use of CRM.

  • Identifies and qualifies new prospects for potential sales that involve Emerging Technologies; supports qualified prospects through the bidding and proposal process
  • Identifies opportunities to meet customer needs by selling additional products and services to existing customers
  • Maintains post-sale relationship management & Emerging Technologies specification knowledge
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of supplier partner products and services
  • Uses internal resources to assist with the sales process
  • Completes site visits to assess client needs for new and existing customers
  • Collaborates with Holman Fleet leadership and employees to identify and drive change
  • Attends industry events
  • Grows and maintains relationships with Emerging Technologies,  manufacturers and software partners
  • Supports top revenue-generating accounts in region/territory
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus
  • 3-5+ years’ work experience
  • Breadth and depth of technical or functional expertise in own area of responsibility or department; may be acquiring knowledge of other related areas or departments
  • Developing and implementing processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Knowledge of specialty equipment finance, Emerging Technologies, or software solutions relevant to the automation industry
  • Experience with complex sales cycles and multi-party sales implementations
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets
  • Works with other leaders to develop a common departmental vision or strategy
  • Adapts area/departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
  • Identifies and resolves technical, operational, and organizational problems
  • Adjusts quickly to new or changing work environments
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Influences or provides input to forecasting and planning resources; may manage allocated budget
  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and department or business plans; receives guidance from the manager
  • Broad knowledge of all Holman companies and competencies
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives to effectively plan customer support
  • Strong project management skills preferred
  • Ability to turn abstract customer challenges into concrete vehicle designs and project deliverables
  • Ability to work flexible hours and support extensive travel
  • High sales aptitude
  • Strong customer service skills to establish relationships with prospects and customers while fulfilling their requirements
  • Ability to build, create, and sustain relationships and interact at all levels of the organization

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $97,450.00 - $141,300.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
