Fusion is searching for a Sales Intern to join our growing Sales teams. In this position, you will work with Recruiters and Client Managers to help place travelers around the country and to optimize the sales flow to Recruiters. You will also participate in program-specific development experiences and a capstone project designed to help prepare you for your future career.

Essential Functions
- Conduct outbound calls to leads in the database and actively participate in candidate sourcing to fill staffing positions.
- Create and update candidate profiles, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
- Shadow Recruiters and Client Managers to gain hands-on experience in the medical staffing industry and understand client requirements.
- Provide support to the Sales team in various areas including, but not limited to Onboarding, Lead source documentation, certification and state licensing requirements
- Submit candidates through portals and assist in payroll and billing to streamline processes.
- Perform industry market research, analyze trends, and conduct competitor analysis to stay informed and contribute to the optimization of the sales team.
- Participate in Fusion Internship Program experiences and other development opportunities as directed by Program Coordinator.
- Actively participate in capstone and other projects when applicable.
- Work collaboratively with other interns, team members, and Fusion employees.
- Other duties as assigned by management and/or Program Coordinator.

Work Environment
Work environment defined:
Local - position has in-office requirements Monday through Friday and would require employee to live in the local area.
Position Type/Expected hours worked:
- Internship dates: May 19th – August 22nd, 2025
- This is a temporary position.
- Must work at least 25 hours/week, but no more than 40 hours/week.
- Required to work in office every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning to participate in program-specific development sessions. In office days may change based on Division specific policy.
- Required to attend and participate in Capstone Project presentation on August 21st, 2025
- The work week is Monday through Friday, with specific work hours approved by Division Manager.

Position Type/Expected hours worked
This is a part-time position, and standard hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CST (start/end times with manager discretion). Regular and punctual attendance is required.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Actively enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Preferred Education and Experience
- Preference is given to Junior and Senior standing
