THE ROLE

We are looking for a recent graduate / Young Professional to strengthen our Business Development Team in Berlin. Your main responsibility will be around sales, business development, account management & customer success. You will be finding and establishing new clients and engagements, maneuvering existing client engagements, as well as collaborating closely with consultants at Netlight to find a great match between Netlighters and client engagements. You will create business collaborations and drive digital change by taking end-to-end ownership of every part of the client engagement lifecycle together with your passionate team.

Note: At Netlight, the internal name for this function is Engagement Search (ES)/Engagement Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exploring the Berlin tech scene & the latest industry trends; identifying potential clients and their needs
  • Reaching out to potential clients and owning the full sales cycle from first touchpoint to closing
  • Managing client relationships & project teams, making sure to build strong, scalable & sustainable client relationships
  • Representing Netlight while meeting and networking with local industry leaders, building a strong & sustainable network of relevant industry contacts.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Recent Graduate / Young Professional with a Master's degree in Business, IT, Engineering or similar. (or: Bachelor's degree with relevant full-time experience)
  • Full Business-level fluency in written and spoken German and English
  • Passion for Tech, Sales, Communication, Networking, and Entrepreneurship
  • Some relevant experience through internships, working student jobs, or engagement in student organizations in Sales, Business Development, Consulting, Venture Capital, Startups or similar, ideally in a tech-heavy environment.
