Due to strong demand for assistance closing the leads Marketopia generates, we are actively hiring a senior sales closer of Managed IT Services to assist our clients in implementing our sales methodology and closing net new Managed IT Service contracts. This opening is for a senior sales person with strong experience in IT sales and sales mentoring. This person will work out of our Pinellas Park, Florida office. This resource will work with directly for the CEO of Marketopia and will serve as the first person and thus leader in a new service organization. The clients will refer to this resource as a SCaaS, which stands for Sales Closer as a Service, resource. In our sales methodology, we call this position a Business Technology Advisor or Consultant.

Responsibilities

  • The primary responsibility is to work with our clients that have received qualified leads from our marketing and lead generation team to help ensure they close. The opportunities will be qualified by our client as legitimate prospects for a recurring managed service agreement prior to engaging and from there we will collaborate with them to close each opportunity. New customers can be closed for recurring or project type work; however, the focus should be on selling recurring Managed IT Service agreements.

  • The Sales Executive is also responsible for pursuing all initial leads our clients engage us to pursue in collaboration with them and mentoring our clients to better collaborate with our internal lead generation team and to identify leads through networking events, door-to-door sales and their referral partners. This resource will also collaborate with our internal hunter and account manager teams to sell their services into our client base.

  • This is a senior sales position and will act as a mentor and leader to our internal sales department. Part of your scope will be to help further develop and inspire a team of high performing sales, and account management professionals.


Education & Experience

  • 3+ Years of very successful Outside IT Sales Experience selling into the SMB Market.
  • Strong preference for experience selling recurring Managed IT Services in the SMB space.
  • Candidates are required to have a background in 'hunting' for clients in the computer/network and telephony industries.
  • Ideal candidates have an existing book of business and established relationships with clients in an IT service capacity that will enable them to 'hit the ground running'.

  • Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge
  • Strong executive presence
