Job Summary
Optimum, a leading provider of internet, TV, and mobile services, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Enrichment Specialist to join our growing sales operations team. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in data analysis and sales support within a dynamic and innovative company. As a Sales Enrichment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in empowering our front-line sales agents by providing them with the data and insights they need to succeed. You will be responsible for assisting with data queries, maintaining data integrity within our core sales platforms (primarily Salesforce and Google Cloud Platform), working with geographic information, building audience segments, and performing basic system administration tasks. This role requires a candidate with a strong analytical mindset, a passion for problem-solving, and a desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment. A basic understanding of how to read and use APIs is a must.
Responsibilities
- Assist in querying and extracting data from Salesforce, Google Cloud Platform, and other sales-related systems to support sales agent requests and reporting needs.
- Help maintain data quality and integrity within Salesforce and other systems by identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
- Support the creation and maintenance of sales territories, team and channel sales quota, and geographic data using GIS tools.
- Assist in building and managing targeted audience segments for marketing and sales campaigns.
- Perform basic system administration tasks, such as permission management within Salesforce and other designated platforms.
- Collaborate with the sales operations team to identify areas for process improvement and automation.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation for sales data processes and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and emerging trends in sales data analysis and relevant technologies.
- Assist in running pre-built reports and providing sales agents with actionable insights.
- Aid in troubleshooting basic technical issues related to data access and system usage.
- Create basic SQL queries to extract data from various databases.
- Read and understand API documentation for various platforms.
- Pull data from APIs using tools like Postman or similar applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, GIS) or relevant technical certification (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer, CompTIA Data+, CompTIA DataSys+) or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience (internship, coursework, or professional) working with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Basic understanding of database concepts and experience with data querying, preferably with exposure to SQL.
- Familiarity with GIS concepts and tools is highly desired.
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform services (e.g., BigQuery, Data Studio) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Knowledge of basic principles of data visualization.
- Experience using Postman or similar tools to interact with APIs.
- Familiarity with basic data transformation and cleansing techniques.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $64,260.00 - $105,570.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
