The Role:
Proofpoint is looking for a data-driven individual who can quickly come up to speed and add value to the Commercial Sales Engineering team. The Commercial SE team is high-energy and fast paced and needs someone to help with some of the background work to help Proofpoint customers have the best and most secure experience possible.
As a Sales Engineering Intern, you will utilize existing Python scripts to generate and gather data specific to Proofpoint customers. You will also use internal tools to help find interesting threats to be discussed with customers, design and build PowerPoint presentations, and gather and interpret other data to help customers better understand their security posture. You will work closely with an amazing team of seasoned Sales Engineers who will present the data you gather for customers.
Qualifications:
- Hands on experience with Microsoft PowerPoint (both designing and presenting)
- Knowledge of and experience with Python scripting
- Experience and comfort at Linux command line
- Experience collaborating with large teams
- Exposure to cybersecurity concepts
Candidate Profile:
You have the ability and interest in working part-time (a maximum of 20 hours/week) in our Draper, UT office. You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and are successfully maintaining an above average GPA. This internship is scheduled to start immediately and run through August 2025.
