About Doodle Labs
Doodle Labs is at the forefront of designing wireless networking solutions that power a connected world of unmanned systems. Recently recognized by Fast Company as one of 2024's Most Innovative Companies, Doodle Labs is driven by a vision where every robotic system is seamlessly connected, amplifying efficiency, safety, and collaboration with human teams. Join us and work on pioneering technologies that are shaping the future of wireless communications and autonomous networks.
About the Role
Doodle Labs is looking for a Sales Engineer to join our direct sales team and help drive the adoption of our next-generation wireless networking solutions in the United Kingdom and European markets. This role is ideal for a technically savvy sales professional with experience in wireless communication systems, who can engage with customers to understand their needs and help integrate Doodle Labs' solutions into their applications.
This is a remote position based in the UK or Europe, with travel required (approximately 30%) for customer meetings, industry events, and tradeshows. The position will report to a U.S.-based manager.
Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our sales team and solutions engineers to qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities.
  • Lead the technical sales process with high-priority customers, including system planning, integration support, and system optimization.
  • Manage customer technical support inquiries in coordination with our team of Solution Engineers.
  • Establish and grow relationships with engineers, procurement teams, and decision-makers within assigned customer organizations.
  • Ensure the Technical Evaluation Stage is accurately tracked in HubSpot CRM, documenting relevant customer interactions and technical assessments. Sales Engineers are responsible for keeping their part of the CRM updated but are not responsible for closing deals.
  • Proactively engage with new potential customers in the UK and EU markets to generate new business opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates on activities, sales pipeline, and key account strategies to the Senior Director of Sales.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or business development, selling technology solutions to engineering teams.
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales with OEMs, system integrators, or industrial automation companies.
  • Strong technical knowledge in wireless communications, RF systems, and networking technologies.
  • A deep understanding of the drone industry, including how drones are designed, manufactured, and integrated with communication systems, is highly desirable. As our customers often require guidance in integrating our radios into their platforms, experience with drone technology and its ecosystem will be a significant advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Experience working with VARs (Value-Added Resellers) and System Integrators is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional European language skills are a plus.
