Position: Sales Engineer

Report to: Tomoo Suda General Sales manager

Location: Tokyo Japan

Job Summary

Promote and sell the equipment and services within the assigned region, product range, or list of customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pursue sales leads; visit existing and new customers; assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services; respond to customer enquiries; negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority; and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.
  • Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
  • Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and priorities and schedule own activities so these targets are met.
  • Share products knowledge and gained experience with customers and other employees through knowledge sharing sessions, customer training sessions, etc.
    Work as a team with other colleagues in other divisions, and departments.
  • Participate and take on additional assignments and projects as required.
  • Distributor management in order to achieve the budget, manage the progress of opportunities, provide product training, provide technical support, respond to estimates, accompany sales, and manage orders.

Education and Experience

  • University degree, College of Technology, major in Mechanism/Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years working experiences in industry machine/equipment sales/marketing, working experience in NMC is preferred.

  • Good at English in verbal and oral,
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, motivational skills.
  • Strong analytical and Computer Skills.
  • Proactive and aggressive in business, Self-driven and result oriented.
  • Integrity, hard working, open-minded, strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
