Job Description:

Summary:
The Sales Enablement Specialist is responsible for contacting current and potential customers through existing call campaigns with the goal of identifying customer needs, identifying solutions, generating interest, and gaining commitment to a visit and site survey from a field sales representative for further solution exploration, demo, and deal closure.

Primary Duties:  
•    Rigorously prospect for new opportunities primarily through the S&S team’s Campaign Dashboard
•    Support sales through outbound calling, e-mail communication and transfer of account and opportunity information to appropriate personnel.
•    Utilize Salesforce.com as the primary planning and execution tool for daily activity.
•    Achieve productivity and revenue targets as outlined by compensation plan.
•    Serve as the critical liaison between the customer and the field sales team for call prioritization, needs assessments, and visit scheduling.
•    Proactively communicate regarding high potential account opportunities ensuring the appropriate resources are available to support the opportunities.
•    Execute internet research to appropriately qualify leads and account opportunities.
•    Ensure a smooth transition of opportunities to the field team.
•    Exercise salesmanship skills to establish relationships with customers to uncover opportunities for the field team.
•    Follow corporate account guidelines to deliver the team value proposition and handle objections effectively.
•    Follow established business process ensuring productivity and sales metrics are accurately tracked within Salesforce.com.
•    Enter information into Salesforce to ensure account information is kept up to date.
•    Perform other responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications:  
•    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
•    3 – 5 years sales experience
•    Exceptional telephone skills—willingness to spend the majority of the workday on the phone.
•    Must be familiar with the Zep product portfolio
•    Ability to understand customer needs
