About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Sales Enablement Instructional Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering high-impact learning experiences that equip our global sales team with the knowledge and skills they need to exceed their goals. You will collaborate closely with sales leadership, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to design and develop a range of learning materials, including online courses, presentations, videos, and job aids. You will also be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop engaging and effective learning content for sales and technical onboarding, ongoing training, product launches, and new initiatives.
  • Conduct needs analysis and identify performance gaps to ensure training aligns with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information, identify learning objectives, and ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Utilize adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and innovative learning technologies to create impactful and engaging learning experiences.
  • Build eLearning modules, videos, interactive exercises, simulations, and other learning materials using a variety of authoring tools.
  • Assist in the maintenance and updating of existing training materials to ensure they remain current and effective.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using data analysis and feedback, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest learning technologies, trends, and best practices in sales enablement.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior instructional designers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, with at least 2 years focused on sales enablement or a technology environment.  
  • B2B Instructional Design experience is required. 
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and developing a variety of learning solutions, including eLearning modules, videos, instructor-led training, and job aids.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.), and learning technologies.
  • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts is a plus.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and data analysis tools is a plus.

Annual Salary Range (does not include bonus or equity)

$90,000$110,000 USD
