Blue Yonder is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Director to join our Sales team at Blue Yonder. As a key member of the Consumer Goods Sales team, the Sales Director will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies, success selling into the Consumer Goods vertical, as well as experience managing and mentoring sales teams.

Location: This role is US-Remote with the ability to travel up to 50%

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth goals
  • Lead a team of 4-6 sales professionals, including setting performance goals, providing coaching and development opportunities, and conducting performance evaluations
  • Coach Account Managers through deal strategy, account growth and developing a customer roadmap
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the supply chain software market and customer needs, and use this knowledge to drive sales success
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, industry partners, and influencers
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to drive sales success
  • Report on sales performance, including regular forecasting and pipeline management
  • Continuously evaluate and refine sales processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies and driving revenue growth
  • Experience leading and mentoring sales teams
  • Strong understanding of the supply chain software market and customer needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Results-driven and customer-focused, with a passion for driving sales success
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of cloud hyper-scaler environments and Azure
  • SaaS and ARR sales motions

The base salary range for this position is $170,000-$195,000

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
