Sales Development Representative Poland - Warsaw

This is a greenfield role as we establish our regional Demand Generation Team within Poland and a great opportunity to progress in your sales career. Through this role, you will earn the potential to move into business development, foreign exchange dealing, or other opportunities, as many previous incumbents in this role have been promoted to [Business Development Manager, Dealing, or Relationship Manager roles]. 

The Role:  

To succeed in this role, we are looking for resilient, motivated individuals with a tenacious and competitive mindset to generate appointments for sales targets.  

You will work closely with our Business Development Managers (BDM’s & Sr. BDMs) to proactively identify and contact new [medium to large prospects and “low end” corporates] from multiple sources including databases, networking events, and partnerships to determine their requirements and provide new business meetings for our Senior BDM population. 

Role & Responsibilities:  

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:  
  • Develop deep understanding of Convera’s value proposition 
  • Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as revenue and appointment setting targets, and report them on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis 
  • Work closely with the Senior BDMs, Industry leads, and Sales Leaders to create appointments with new & existing prospects 
  • Confidence to make outbound calls to identify, contract, and qualify new business opportunities and arrange face to face and/or Zoom meetings with them and Senior BDMs 
  • Use sales enablement tools, such as Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo, and Highspot to generate new business prospects 
  • Manage the sales lead allocation pipeline to the sales team on a daily basis 
  • Use commercial awareness to identify, articulate, and provide appropriate products or services of new prospects that solve the problems they face when making/receiving overseas payments 

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Sales industry experience, ideally used to making outbound calls to generate new sales opportunities 
  • Strong organizational and effective time management skills 
  • Active listening, strong written and verbal communication skills, such as a professional telephone manner 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment 
  • Willingness to attain [Level 3 CISI Certificate (i.e., Introduction to securities and investments)] within 6 months of hire 
  • Must be fluent to a native level in Polish 
  • Must be fluent in English (oral and written), as all internal communication is in English  

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience in the financial services industry 
  • Experience within Microsoft Office Suite and sales tools such as Salesforce and Highspot would be advantageous
