How you contribute to our success
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will work within the growth team and at the direction of the sales leaders and the Demand Generation Manager to support Navigate’s Wellbeing platform sales through assigned channel partner relationships (brokerage firms, reseller organizations, direct companies etc.). The SDR will work in collaboration with the sales leader and Demand Generation Manager to assist the business development team in generating, contacting, and nurturing warm leads to identify viable opportunities and to schedule first meetings. The SDR will qualify and direct outbound sales opportunities to the appropriate business development representative, to advance the Navigate brand and secure sales. This position will have minimal travel. This role may be considered as a path to a sales position over time for the right candidate if desired.
Success for this position is measured by your ability to schedule meetings for the business development team, cultivate leads into viable opportunities maintain accurate CRM records, and foster collaboration between sales and marketing departments.
Your Responsibilities to the team, our clients and community

Conducting outbound phone calls to prospective clients with the goal of identifying and qualifying potential leads and building pipeline.

Engaging with inbound leads through various communication channels such as phone, email, and effectively nurturing them to the next stage of the sales process.

Collaborating with the sales team to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads, providing all necessary information to facilitate successful follow-up.

Conducting thorough research on prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities, and tailoring your communication to address their specific pain points.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and lead progress in our CRM system (HubSpot).

Track daily calls and appointments set.

Record activity, meeting notes, etc. in HubSpot for all qualified leads.

Provide monthly summary of activity to Sales Leadership and Demand Generation Manager

Achieving and exceeding individual and team-based targets for lead qualification and conversion.

Experience & Education needed for success in this role
Experience
-
Minimum of one year experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably as a Sales Development Representative or similar position

Minimum of one year experience tracking and using a CRM (preferably HubSpot)
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-
Applicants holding HubSpot Academy certifications related to sales or possessing experience with the Challenger/Sandler sales methodologies will be given preference.
Physical & Working Environment

Normal mental and visual attention is required. Normal office working conditions requiring continuous use of both hands. Sitting most of the time, may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

Position requires occasional bending, squatting, twisting and climbing stairs. There are minimal exposures to workplace hazards.
